[bThis watercolor explores the body not as a closed form, but as a shifting, permeable space. Fragments of birds, insects, and botanical elements emerge from and merge back into the figure, blurring the boundary between the human body and the living world around it.
Inspired by Donna Haraway’s question, “Why should our bodies end at the skin?”, the work reflects on transformation, interconnection, and the instability of identity. The figure appears suspended in a transitional state — neither fully separate nor fully dissolved — suggesting that the body may be understood not as a fixed boundary, but as an ecosystem of memories, sensations, and relationships.
